Argos
There's more to Argos
At Argos, my role focuses on shaping the future vision of the app and services, alongside delivering live releases. My work centres on creating and delivering ideas aligned to the company’s strategic direction—introducing more ease of use for seamless shopping, as well as driving inspiration and engagement. Some of the features I’ve created and led include a reimagined digital catalogue, a redesigned experience built around personalisation and rewards, and a themed homepage that enables partners to showcase major product launches. Details of the work remain confidential as some products and services are still in development.

Showcase
Showcasing the Future of Argos
I was tasked with creating a showcase for Argos partners to demonstrate new features and services coming to the platform, including a themed homepage for new product releases and a digital catalogue experience designed to bring more inspiration into the app. All of these initiatives were conceived and created by me, and brought together in a video where I developed the concept, storyboards, animation, and final edit.
App header
Redesigning the app Header
The app headers are prime real estate, playing a key role in helping customers get to the right place quickly through search, browse, and hero content. They also provide a prominent space for suppliers to showcase new and upcoming products, supporting monetisation while highlighting what’s new. I was tasked with evolving the headers to improve speed and access—enhancing search, exposing key categories, and introducing a personalised header that surfaces content based on relevance.
Showcases
Homepage Theming
A significant portion of Argos’s revenue comes from sponsorship placements, particularly on the homepage during major product releases. The existing space was limited—restricted to fixed components that lacked flexibility. I was tasked with creating a solution that enables partners to showcase their products to maximise impact. I designed solutions across native apps and web, working closely with engineering to develop a demo build for key stakeholders and partners.
Catalogue
Bringing back the catalogue
Some things are irreplaceable—but this could be the next best thing. I came up with the idea of bringing back the catalogue, not as we remember it, but reimagined for today. A modern, personalised experience designed to help customers discover new and upcoming products through imagery, video, and interactive content. Less purchase-driven and more inspiration-led, the new catalogue encourages repeat engagement and discovery—bringing back what people loved about the original, but made for how we shop today.
My Role
Shaping The Future of Argos
At Argos, I focus on shaping the future direction of the app and services while continuing to deliver live releases. I create ideas aligned to the wider strategy—improving ease of use and making shopping more seamless, while introducing more engaging and inspirational experiences. My work also supports monetisation by creating new opportunities for both customers and partners through product and experience innovation. I work across both hands-on design and leadership, covering UI/UX, creative direction, animation, and storytelling—taking ideas from concept through to production.
