Run Connect
Social Running
I identified a decline in social fitness during the pandemic, as running and exercise became more individual and disconnected. I developed Run Connect as a concept to bring people together through running—creating a more social, engaging way to stay active. The idea was to move beyond passive tracking apps and enable real-time shared experiences through fitness.

Competitive Running
I designed Run Connect to match runners based on ability and run type, enabling them to take part in real-time social runs and competitive challenges. During a run, users can track and compare their performance against others live—choosing to keep pace or compete. A reward system encourages progression, with rankings that reflect performance over time, creating a more engaging and connected running experience.
